Compopack presents the research project “SUSTAINABLE BEVERAGE SOLUTION – MADE IN EMILIA ROMAGNA – SbS–MiER” Funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU program (Ecosister for Sustainable Transition in Emilia-Romagna, ECS00000033, Italian Ministry of University and Research Decree No. 1052/2022, SPOKE 3)
OBJECTIVES Definition of the process for creating the “naked pod” and development of an automation system (prototype).
MAIN ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT FOR THE PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION Proof of Concept (PoC) of the product, patent research, 3D design, creation of the automation system (hardware & software), assembly, testing, and dissemination of results.
RESULTS AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS Patentable and feasible (Made in Italy) system… Further studies will focus on the secondary packaging system and industrialization, based on market data and trend analysis.
